3 days in Auckland, New Zealand
Why have an orientation?
A MIECANZ Orientation...
- Provides a safe, welcoming environment from the time students arrive at Auckland Airport through to departure to their new school destination.
- Helps students learn about New Zealand by giving them a genuine, on-the-ground New Zealand experience.
- Helps students prepare for school, living in a homestay, and settling into life in New Zealand.
- Enhances a sense of connection with other students.
- Provides an opportunity to form social links with other students going through the same student arrival process.
What happens at the Orientation?
Students are greeted at Auckland Airport and driven by bus to our accommodation in Auckland.
They spend 2 days participating in indoor and outdoor group activities, information sessions, and a guided tour around the sights of Auckland.
On Day 3, students are taken to Auckland Airport and assisted in catching their flights to their new school and homestay locations.
The programme includes:
- 2 nights accommodation
- All meals
- Travel to and from Auckland Airport
- 24 hour MIECANZ staff supervision
- Information sessions, indoor and outdoor group activities, and a guided bus tour around Auckland city
- Visit to the Sky Tower
How much does it cost?
NZ$795 per student for early payment
(On or before 31 October 2026).
NZ$850 per student for standard payment
(On or after 1 November 2026).
Includes New Zealand bank fees and taxes.
